Sorry for the slight delay - based on the speed of the draft today I did not expect the draft to get back to me before I got home from Softball, so I did not update my proxies. Anyways picks made and the draft moves on.

Assuming GB spends under $1M per player the rest the way out, there is still hope that Kershaw makes an Opening Roster.

Nice to see the disparity in "dry powder" funds - a few owners are saving the cash for a rainy day.

I thought about Kershaw but didnt want to spend 10m on 1 Sp.

A reminder to all managers it is against league rules to mention the names of any players that have not, yet, be drafted.

Technically I do not recall that being an official rule (as I do not see it listed in the rules) - more of an unwritten custom as far I am concerned. Occasionally it occurs accidentally - no harm no foul in my opinion but I apologize to anyone who was planning on drafting the player, if someone else grabs him first.

I suppose you're right..it *is* sort of informal, policy is a better word than "rule" I guess.

And, of course, soon as we say somehing about moving fast, someone misses a pick. I wonder what's up with GB. I'm sure he knows he was on the clock.

Sorry guys. I DID have the proxy entered, but somehow the cell for "number of picks" to make in the group had gone down to zero, and I hadn't noticed that. So the proxy didn't fire properly.

Should be back on track now. I see that I had another auto pick work for me - Blackmon.

Re being the last player to draft a pitcher...I thought I'd try a different approach this time - basically drafting my starting lineup. I have some ideas for what I'm going to do....and they probably don't involve that pitcher who has not yet been picked and must not be named!

I'm enjoying this draft so far. I'm picking some players that I haven't picked yet on 2013 teams. Making for an interesting draft!

I have spent just over 62 mil but the site says I still have over 54 mil to spend. Is anybody else seeing this? Are we sure we have the right cap set?

Mine is OK. I show $36,400,000 left, in my own calculations, and the program says $33,400,000 left. The difference is the $3 M that we talked about when we started, as being the minimum for 6 additional players to auto draft.
