I thought it was "I'll take a C, Pat". Get it - Wheel of Fortune? Huh...get it?
I think all your options if I understand your question are correct. You can select him at any of those intervals if he's available and not taken by some other eligible team first.
My franchise is the NY Mets. If I want to claim a player who once played for the Mets but not carded to the franchise, do I
A. Put him on my auto draft list, with the hope he will be selected for my roster.
B. Must wait until waivers and place a waiver claim.
C. Both above are OK, and I can also pick up non-carded former Mets after waivers.
You do not have to put a player who played for the Mets at one time carded or not on your auto waiver...however if he is eligible for some other franchise then you run the risk of losing him...If he only played for your franchise ie Wille Mays then not necessary he is yours throughout the season Only the NEL and non franchised player should be on your auto draft list...because if he is in the waiver wire they could be snagged...
Question about these two last rounds of supplemental picks:
Since we naturally don't know the outcome of the auto draft crap shoot, are these last two picks interchangeable during waivers or free agency with one or two other eligibles, as long as one of them remains an NEL player?
