24-team league Schedule?

Can someone please remind me (because I am too lazy to count it up) - in a 24-team league, how many times do you play each team in your division and how many times each team outside your division?

12 games vs each division team, and 6 games vs all teams outside your division!!

That would be 12 x 5 = 60 games in division.
6 x 18 = 108 games out of division
= 168 games total

To be 162 games, we must have 3 less games against two different opponents.

Yes, if you are in the MIdwest division you play only three games against one team from the Central and only three against one team from the West - otherwise it is 12 against your division and six against everyone else.

In a 24 team league you also do not have a long stretch to start and end the season against your own division - divisional games are all mixed in with non-divisional.

You Play 12 against you division. 6 against everyone else except 2 team's you only play once.
Division 2 Home 2 Away.
Outside division 1 Home 1 Away, except 1 team Home & 1 team Away

Don't forget, you can have road trips so long that you forget what your children look like. Conversely, you can have home stretches so long you wish you never had those children.
