Or, do we have to pick free agents to bring our pitchers to 11 and our batters to 14, and then take our chances later on swapping players or during waivers?
I thought it was that we can do the first thing (not have to do the second thing).

Draft the team you'll play with, Geoff. If you're starting with ten pitchers, draft a throwaway and replace them with the position player your chose.
