I see an awful lot of repeats of the same names over and over-

and supposedly all of these guys have the same chances of getting injured-

something is amiss.

How about this....only 54 games in...12 starts for this SP, Dutch Leonard, and he gets hurt THREE different games...and we know it's pretty rare a pitcher gets hurt.

Mackey, Biz (NeL) C 2 6.97M Game 12 10 additional days
Delahanty, Ed (1894) LF 1 8.31M Game 26 6 additional days
Leonard, Dutch B. (1914) P - 10.81M Game 36 3 additional days
Duffy, Hugh (1894) CF 1 11.75M Game 39 1 additional day
Leonard, Dutch B. (1914) P - 10.81M Game 43 3 additional days
Leonard, Dutch B. (1914) P - 10.81M Game 51 3 additional days

Wow! That's unbelievably weird. I tried counting the number of injuries for individual players, but couldn't keep ahead of your posts. I hope the powers that be at Strat read these and maybe check things out.

Not that it's individuals so much...just the same few for any given season...and those few change...since we know injuries on # 2 and 12 the odds say about 2.5 times each year these players should get hurt.. after 162 many of the hitters should've been hurt at least once...but instead it's 4 guys getting hurt 5 different times and the rest of the squad Zero injuries.

Doesn't seem random at all....predetermined for any given season?

When I went back to look at a couple of leagues, found the same thing.

Same guys over and over and certain ones with the exact same injury chance none- time after time.

Has nothing to do with the length of the injury- although havent looked at that as much, but its the frequency of the same guys having 5 vs. guys having none.

Not to derail your thread but an injury on #2 or 12 should average 3.24 times hit per year.

ok then after a full season in a unlimited cap often leading to 16,17 hitters all getting hundreds of abs...shouldn't all of them that aren't bulletproof get hurt at least once???? Yet maybe 4-6 guys will get hurt repeatedly and the rest of the team Zero injuries?

I just finished a league where the same thing happened - my two best hitter seemed to get injured repeatedly and my starting team played maybe 50% of the season. Of course, missed the playoffs by a game. Halfway through the season, my team had almost experienced a full season's worth of injuries ad another manager even commented on this. Without seeing how other leagues are affected, it feels like extreme rolls are occurring more frequently than would be expected.

I've never understood two things in regards to injuries. One as illustrated above, the same players gets injured over and over. The second issue is when one player gets hurt, say Medwick, as I go through all my team results Medwick will be hurt on several of my teams on the same night. :?
