After trading Carlos Santana for Charlie Blackmon & then adding Gerald Laird, the Naples squad is coming together with one or two more small role players to be added today.
With best guess L/R lineups, the SIMs are fairly consistent now. The majority of the teams are a dice roll away from playoff rounds. I've yet to find one team that ain't a contender on sequential SIM runs. The divisional races are close between #1 & #2 place finishers.
That said, several teams stick out for hitting, batting, and fielding -- good, bad, and damn out ugly. At least one or two teams are 50+ errors ahead of the norm which typically spells doom for those squads. Teams with high xOuts appear to more competitive than I'd expect.
Hats off to Bonn's pitching as it finishes #1 or #2 every sim.
As for hitting, the owners who spent money on the hitters shall be happy. The flip side, those that went cheap on the arms and gloves need dice love more than ever.
GB,
Your quest for OF arms -- the SIMs show the average OF assists to be around 25 outs per team. If I can, I'll check on the teams that run and those that don't. HAL's generated computer manager strategy seems to establish team's running to aggressive and normal. I'll look at those squads and determine if HAL knows something about the team speed or just a bad setting.
