for those who have done this before...can you pick and drop free agents to get your roster right, or fix if you take the wrong mathews or bonds or ruth etc.

The draft works just like all other SOM drafts. You choose your players and can make any adjustments you want during the process. If you end up with too little $ at the end, you can drop someone and pick up a new player, or drop a player and pick up a cheaper version, or start all over again if you want. Just DON'T pick your ballpark until your roster is ready to go. Once you've made that final pick (stadium), your turn is over and the next in line is up.

But when I just checked, it doesn't look as though SOM has rectified the draft order.

OK, the league should now be all set up. Have jfreeman start first, he can add players from free agency to "draft" his team. Then just have each team do so in the correct order. You will not be able to drop players until after you have added 24 players first. If you want the start date changed just let us know! And if you need anything else or have any questions, we're here!

Basically - it's like a frenzy. You are just adding free agents to your team. Be careful as you won't be able to drop anybody until you have a 24 man roster, so you could be doing some shuffling with the last couple of players you want.
