How was I skipped as a time violation at 7 a.m. ?
When I checked before I went to bed last night, we were through pick 36.

Is the clock on 24 hours a day?

I went into the settings on diamonddope and there is no option to set a period of time for the clock. I thought it was always off nights but maybe the default is now 24 hours a day????? Obviously was running last night.

Agree you should not have been skipped. Probably should pause the draft and discuss how to fix.

Again, everyone is listed as an administrator for the draft...so please help each other to sort out the picks.
Bill, I would ask that you suggest a solution and try to get some consensus to get it implemented. (we are an amiable group and this should not be hard)
I had set a 6 hours time clock, and hoped that everyone would have put in proxies so skipping was not needed. (there is not an option to turn the clock off at night...it can only be done manually).
There is some concern that Munich Man is on vacation with limited access, so please do not skip him.
I'll check before I go to work tonight (I do have 14+ proxies set, so that should get through the entire draft)

I'm not going to make a big stink about it. The player I was hoping to take was selected after being skipped, but whatever. Live and learn. I am blowing off work right now (on deadline) just to make this pick and set a proxy or two. I'm sorry that I just don't have much time to spend on this right now.

To keep this from happening again I'll try to remember to shut down clock at Midnight eastern and back on between 8-9AM eastern unless someone in the east will turn it on at 8AM eastern. Those are what I thought the auto-stop hours Adrian had built -in.

That way things can move along in a timely fashion during the day. We all have such varied schedules it's hard to find that sweet spot for everyone (Bill's heavy work schedule, Munich_Man vacation & time zone difference, thaibill in Thailand with opposite days and nights). What we have seems to be working fairly well and keeps our global reach workable.

Two or three proxies should cover a day. If we do a round plus three picks a day we should be done in a week.
Then load teams and off to preseason.
