I hate to be a pain about this but I am still not entirely comfortable about a couple of things.
I wonder if it would be fair to the Cleveland team to have Alomar taken away from them. Given that Lajoie is a 15 game injury risk, if it was my team I would rather have Alomar available as a backup than say Bill Sweeney. But, assuming the Cleveland manager is OK with giving Alomar to the Tor team, would only the version carded to the Tor franchise be eligible?
If the Cleveland manager is not OK with losing Alomar, I would not feel comfortable at this cap level with Utley at 2nd because of his obvious defensive shortcoming. As an alternative maybe a comparable to Alomar 2B such as Biggio or Knoblauch could be assigned to the Phillies team or, if that is not acceptable, perhaps letting the Philles choose 2 additional hitters and 2 additional pitchers would be the way to go.
Unfortunately I have to believe that the Baltimore franchise is going to be a serious stumbling block in getting this league off the ground. There is obviously a serious lack of quality pitching for a 175M league that would not likely be much better with only 2 additional arms added to the staff. To make them more competitive I think they would need 3 pitchers and at least 1 hitter.
