When I read the original post I thought back to 1994 when Omar Visquel committed three errors in one game.


Reminds me of the first time I got to see Matt Williams play. I had heard about his reputation as a great defensive third baseman. First game I saw him play he made 2 errors. :lol:

Anything can happen (and usually does) in baseball. Last night Ian Desmond (a great player) looked like he didn't even belong in the big leagues, both on offense and defense. It happens

How did THAT get glossed over? Did Rburgh lose his wife a few days ago?

If so, this is remarkably sad, and he deserves some slack, and I'm going to bet that he comes out and gives a "mea culpa" for the forbidding smack he took at an innocent poster who was just venting.

If NOT, and if I misunderstood or misread the comment above, then perhaps Rburgh should jump to Step 2 sooner or later.
