The Phenomenal Dale Murray

I guess I just like some sort of the game being "real". I know the stats can get crazy... but Barry Bonds was a home run hitter, etc. Just ask anyone that loves baseball but never played SOM... name the top fifty relief pitchers of all time... you would never hear "Dale Murray. Ever. In this game he is a Hall of Famer.

The other issue you are seeing goes back from 10 years or so where apparently Nev has fairly consistently beaten Charlie and Im not entirely certain Charlie enjoys that.

Remind me what year Nev won the Barnstormers tournament? Was that before or after Charlie won it?

But seriously, it's interesting how some here measure SOM success only by the BS tour (emphasis on BS, lol) I have never blown my horn...yet so many here use me as a measuring stick of their success.

and you miss on Murray who do you target next?

Just about any reliever in the first page of relievers who is more than R2 as planned setup.
Just about any S/R who is in the top half of the relievers free agent page.

Murray is great, but there are many other options that are not that far behind. Getting Murray by no means guarantees a championship, especially if your entire strategy revolved around getting that one card.

Errr ummm, I was responding to your cheap shot at Charlie concluding that this disagreement is due to jealousy of Nev's success. As a past Barnstormers champion, why would he be jealous? It wasn't that hard to follow.

I have faced Nev in finals twice and won both times. I am the best Strato manager to ever live. :lol:

Let's not talk about all those leagues where he won the finals while I was watching on TV.
