aww...the games played is a dubious measurement when Hoyt Wilhelm pitched 226 innings for BAL as a starter, and 144 innings for CHI as a reliever. I see it's the letter of the rule (games not innings), but it doesn't seem in the spirit. He clearly pitched MORE for Baltimore.

Let me know if you think that's allowable, considering the innings disparity. Otherwise I'll pick someone else by tomorrow morning.

I understand your point that IP might make more sense. On the other hand, if that had been the rule, then Wilhelm would probably not be available for the last pick.

Oh my God...it's the same thing. I was looking at plate appearances instead of games played. Curses! I can't get games played into my head as the appropriate yardstick.
