One question do we select the draft option with no players listed, then after the ballpark/player selections. Go to autodraft for the other 24 players?

I'm not sure I follow this. We'll just draft our player and ballpark here on this thread, then when you purchase your team just enter your chosen ballpark correctly and put your select player last on your draft card.

Come on peeps, let's sign up eh? Hiding in Event 5 League 8 probably doesn't matter much at this point.

Sure, it does. There are already two 80-win teams and a 90-win team in this league. It would be smarter for the teams who want to pick higher in the first round, but did poorly in Event 1, to wait until some leagues filled up with more 70-win players. There's no rush, there's almost a month until the deadline.

I thought the leagues would be seeded by Event 1 results. Otherwise the draft position is based on who joins each event.

The problem with seeding becomes:

1. What if a team wants to opt out of Event 5?
2. What happens if a team is a no show?
3. What happens if a team wants to play, but they're at work/vacation/without internet when they're assigned a league?
4. Any "assignment" to a league will likely be viewed very unfavorably by at least half the participants.

I don't even know what gbrookes has planned for this, I just thought a simple solution would be equitable (a regular sign-up sheet). We can even lottery pick for drafts instead of going by wins if everyone agrees. This whole Event 5 thing has been a charlie foxtrot from the start.

I don't care if we do auto draft, but it's obvious some owners are trying to cherry pick events. It shouldn't be the same guys always in the first few leagues.
