Maybe him being at home and not in jail along with not juicing makes him great

I'm home right now, never been jailed and never juiced. I must be great too.

I also know that when I can't hit a baseball anymore, I should tell someone. Like Girardi...

I had completely forgotten that he has hit .350 or higher in 4 World Series. That's definitely more impressive than his never having been thrown out.

Just heard on Morning Joe, some paid up to $8000 to sit near the Yankee dugout for tonights game.

This is MADNESS. Sheer MADNESS.

IDK... It must be me. I must be out of my mind. "I'm mad as hell, and not gonna take it anymore"

I hate the Yankees, but really hope next year, without their selfish .250 no range/ no OB/ gBA hitting into SS, they win it all.

Would you mind hating the Tigers for me the next couple months?

Guess who is retiring after along and successful career, but with far less fanfare...no, not an HOF candidate, but solid numbers over a long career...except for 2 partial NL seasons to start his career, spent the rest of it all with one club. Never heard his name linked to steroids, if had bad press it never made it out to the East coast to my knowledge.

Here's some highlights...scroll to the bottom for the players name.

16 full seasons

410 2B
439 HRs
1412 RBI

.279 AVG
.354 OBP
.487 SLP
.841 OPS

30-39 HR seasons: 5
40+ HR seasons: 2

100+ RBI seasons: 6

Paul Konerko...wonder what his farewell woulda been like if those seasons were with the Yanks?
