L/R splits on the road versus home park

PostFri Sep 26, 2014 8:57 pm

Does anyone see any value in computing these additional stats to assist with lineup preferences? I haven't seen anything recently ( or anytime that I can remember)concerning this, so maybe it is a moot point.

If there was a lot of variation in park makeup around the league and you thought just an extra win here or there might make a difference then there is value. If on the other hand the focus is on the amount of effort compared with the competitive advantage gained then I would tend to lean on it having less value.

Maybe an analogy. Power door locks. Great idea that adds value to a car. But if the price of that car soars from 10K to 90K where I need 10 years to pay it off instead of 6 months would not consider on balance power door locks to be a value.

I play mostly $60M, and I don't see any value there.

However, the few times I've been in no cap leagues, I have a different lineup for a lot of the away parks, so getting even the mashup of all the away stadiums might be helpful in that case.
