I've been thinking about trades. With a hard cap of 25 players, we're a bit limited in trading, but it should still be possible. How about...
- One-to-one trades (or other even ones) are okay, whenever allowed by the game engine
- Two-for-one trades are okay, as long as the new 26-player team drops someone; the new 24-player team would continue at that level (no new adds from the shallow end of the player pool)
In looking at the RPs again, I see that 3 of the 1911 guys are already in the 1900s set -- which leaves us at the minimum required number of 6 x 3 = 18
Some of those 18 are bad enough that I would want to set them at "avoid LHB" and "avoid RHB,' too
How about if we add in the 4 RPs from 1912 and the 2 RPs from 1913, to give us a selection of 24?
