Robert Burns, Mesquiton, really? If you're going to quote a poet of that era, make it an excellent one like Byron, Shelley, or Blake. You can really critique somebody with their complex works, whomever you are critiquing.

Secondly, this is a particularly bad poem with a bad message. Do you go through life seeing yourself as others see you? Do you truly give others that much power over your self-image? If so, you have my sympathies and pity. I ,myself, only value the opinions of my wife, children, friends, and people I respect. That excludes a few posters on this thread...

Speaking of opinions, what do you think of this post by the veteran Geekor to a newbie. On it, he suggests that the newbie is a "retard" and makes an inappropriate reference to his genitals. Since you can't approve of such forum behavior, your poem must have referred to him:

And what Jerlins said was correct, which is why Strat re-ran the game right away. No ones lineups were set correctly, winning when everything was messed up and losing when they are fixed just shows.... you should fix your lineups to begin with.

As I said in my post, Mesq, I'm fine with the "shoe" fitting. Unlike you, I don't care what everybody thinks about me. Nobody with self-respect does. If you want to go through life doing so, you truly do have my sympathies.

OK It is my turn. I mostly go on the chat site without login on.

I have 3 Keeper Leagues going and it is all I will play anymore. The guy running these Leagues is the best ever and if he gives them up so will I. (don't feel any pressure here as I play because you run them and the guys in them.) I have made a commitment to him and the players in those Leagues and will continue to as long as I can.

I took nothing out of context. Here is your full quote, so there are no "contextual" difficulties. You clearly say "it was the vets that sent me packing." So, even if you thought I was one of those vets, you obviously were "sent packing" by more vets than me. So you clearly stated other players besides me are a problem for you.

You confirm this with your next sentence when you say there is a "new guy running his mouth and the old guard doesn't like it." Whoever this "new guy" is, you clearly state he hasn't done anything the "old guard" hasn't, and they are only upset because he's doing what they did. That means the "old guard" has been just as objectionable as this "new guy" rankling them. Also, you clearly state that "the vets" had already run you off before the new guy hit the scene. So, the "vets," not the "new guy," have been the problem for you.

Finally, you asserted you have been called much worse than "chum" or "little man" on the boards. So, you thought the previous poster's complaint about those terms was invalid. You also said "you have taken too much 'sh*t' on this site." This is my first post to you ever. That means other posters have called you worse than "chum" and "little man" and other posters have given you "shit," not me.

So, as you see, I took nothing out of context, and your post does support the claim that other posters have given "sh*t" to posters. So, good day, and good luck with those "vets who sent you packing."
