Interesting...it's also interesting that Fister won SOM semi-final (Padres) and real-life semi-final (Washington Nationals) on the same day. Bumgarner (Maulers and San Francisco Giants) didn't quite pull off the ol' SOM/Real life post-season "double" trick.

Also, all the teams in the West had solidly positive run-differentials. That means they must have significantly preyed on non-division teams to counter the damage they did to each other...very rare.
