Congrats Joe!!! :)

Thanks GB. It's going to be fun. Hopefully they can stop the undefeated Royals!

Our World Series starts tonight. Hoping to get a few hits off of Big A's pitching and defense juggernaut!

Well, the timing we had against Stoney left us tonight and found it's way to Big A. We couldn't string them together and he did. Gotta do better in our park to make a difference. He hasn't lost a Playoff game yet. Hopefully he's due for a few missed die rolls. If not, it will be a short series!

First game was the tough one, we both got only 5 hits, but he managed a 1-10 HR from Rizzo and a single with two outs by Pierre (.109 in the clutch) on Wainright's card.

In the second game, he strung together three hits in the 3rd for two runs, got a double from Wieters' card (.123 BA v RHP) and another from Cain to get his third run. Not that it mattered much, we only got six hits and no walks off of Roark and Hochevar putting six LHB up against them. They were just too good. We were lucky to score a run.

Missed a few BPHR so, hopefully we will roll them again in our park!

Big A's pitching and D are a challenge, but his offense? Shouldn't be so much. That said, his pitching and D are so good, that you have to hit the right numbers when you roll on his card or you're in trouble.

Got a hill to climb, but we have three at home to get healthy! :D 8-)

Congrats Big A. You had a great Defensive team with very good pitching. You went all out on your strategy and it worked.

Not sure how we gave up 14 runs the last two games to the worst offense in the league in the last two game, but that's SOM for you.

Tonight, I thought we had both of the games. We had the lead and Jansen on the mound, but he completely sucked. Not much more you can ask for, the 2nd or 3rd best card in the game with the lead against the worst offense in the league. HRs by Gordon, Escobar and Martin's finale game winner doomed us. Heck, you hit only one fewer HR than we did in the series!

We got a huge break when Siegrist went out for the series, but that's about all we got. We had our chance to win that last one with second and third with the Davis brothers up, but rolled both on Cotts' card. Not much there that's going to help you. :(

I think we used up our rolls against Stoney. Just lucky to get this far. Oh well.

Would have been nice to give you a challenge, but your combination of great pitching and D with timely hitting doomed us. Well done!

I am so happy!!! :D :D :D :D

It was kind of a huge experiment, and it worked much better than I ever could imagine.

Glad you're so happy Big A. As disappointed as I am, I'm happy that you finally have an NLD Championship ring! :D 8-) Much better then losing to one of those guys who already have a ton. ;) :P

Just as an FYI BigA won 8 in a roll just like the KC Royals.

Hey Guys, are we going to try and get NLD 37 in this year? If so, we better get it started soon!

Here's the draft order:
East
gmac94
Semper Gumby
nythawk129921
JMP1

Central
superflymacdaddyjuice
Spider 67
gbrookes
Corky

West
ArrylT
Stoney18
joethejet - In
BigAlric

The only tie above, that wasn't broken by the playoffs, was between Hawk and JMP. JMP went 7-5 so Hawk gets the earlier pick.
