Well, the timing we had against Stoney left us tonight and found it's way to Big A. We couldn't string them together and he did. Gotta do better in our park to make a difference. He hasn't lost a Playoff game yet. Hopefully he's due for a few missed die rolls. If not, it will be a short series!
First game was the tough one, we both got only 5 hits, but he managed a 1-10 HR from Rizzo and a single with two outs by Pierre (.109 in the clutch) on Wainright's card.
In the second game, he strung together three hits in the 3rd for two runs, got a double from Wieters' card (.123 BA v RHP) and another from Cain to get his third run. Not that it mattered much, we only got six hits and no walks off of Roark and Hochevar putting six LHB up against them. They were just too good. We were lucky to score a run.
Missed a few BPHR so, hopefully we will roll them again in our park!
Big A's pitching and D are a challenge, but his offense? Shouldn't be so much. That said, his pitching and D are so good, that you have to hit the right numbers when you roll on his card or you're in trouble.
Got a hill to climb, but we have three at home to get healthy!
