OK, I get that. But shouldn't it be the 4 playoff teams from the 1st season, regardless of record, as in this case? That, at least, guarantees that 2, and possibly 3 new teams will make the playoffs in season 2. In your scenario, it is possible that only one new team would qualify for playoffs in season 2.

I propose an amendment to the rules stating as much, and changing the wording of the rules to show that:

"The divisional alignment for Season 2 is based upon the standings from Season 1, with the 4 playoff teams being placed in the East, and the Central and West being determined by wins of non-playoff teams in descending order."

The tie-breaker would remain as stated in the rules.

I also prefer this method, give at least two new teams a shot at the playoffs and makes it a little more worth while for the bottom teams to play season 2.

THANK YOU Niners. Much appreciated, and apparently quite necessary confirming that Kelvin Herrera is on my roster and I probably did not need A. J. Ramos, but I'm sill glad we have almost wrapped up the SUPP draft.

Not sure if we are going to get this thing filled today. I hafta leave for work at 2 clock EST, and wont be home till well after midnight.
