Left a proxy, hopefully Big A doesn't take him. I just don't have the energy tonight to figure out another pick so.....

Don't forget that "always needed" back-up catcher who can play CF and throw a few innings out of the bullpen!

Yeah, or just a CF period. As you probably have guessed, I had Span on my proxy pick. I should have figured out both of my picks before I took Medlen as I would have known that Big A was more likely to take Span.

Of course, the way the pitching is shaping up in the West, having another RHB might be beneficial.

AT is up, I"m very surprised he doesn't have proxies set up.

Hey Guys,

goign to get a root canal so I'll be away for awhile. I put in some proxies and I have my fingers crossed. Was hoping Spidy and GB wouild have picked, but they haven't so I'm guessing a bit more.

I'll check in when my tooth is fixed.

I guess we'll see how drugged up Joe gets from his root canal when he makes his next pick. I'm hoping for some powerful stuff.

I'm probably in trouble. In both of the earlier leagues, the owner ahead of me kept picking my guy. It hasn't happened yet in the "37" version. My brain cells may be deteriorating.

Ha! That's why I put in proxies! (I even got the guys I wanted. What a concept)Didn't get back to me tonight (I guess Zim is in bed) so I'll be fine by morning. :)

Speaking of drafting strangeness:
GB still hasn't taken a pitcher, but he has six outfielders!
AT does have a pitcher, but no SPs yet.
Four teams don't have RPs yet
Hawk has his whole rotation

Ok, I guess those aren't *that* weird, but worth noting I guess.

GB is planning on a softball team outfield with the roving center fielder. As for the lack of relief pitchers, I'm not surprised as owners are taking the situational hitters earlier in the draft. We'll see the RP run soon enough.

For my money, Brian Boesch's NLD 37 draft slotting switched the tone. With more niche, role players getting tagged ahead of the regular names. It will be fun monkeying the CD-ROM to incorporate all the two-bit players.

On another note, I'm heading to Paris on Saturday. Since my core lineup is aboard, I'll load enough proxies to get by for a few rounds. If I tap out, skip me.

Semper, I guess we'll see what GB has in mind. That pitching staff should be *interesting*. ;)

As for being in Paris, if you can draft on your phone from Tibet, I can't imagine you having problems using your phone to draft from "Paree" 8-)

Smokey is up.

Ain't much to do in Tibet besides figuring your way around the Great Firewall.

I plan to enjoy a few glasses of wine and a ton of brie cheese
