Agreed - nice post. This contract will still be move-able near the end of Year 2 to a contender based on Cuddyer's history. The same cannot be said for Bay and his contract.
While I feel that the Mets could have offered ~ $5M less over the course of the 2-year pact, it is not comparable to the Bay signing.
