Almonte was on my radar. I had some success with him on a team early this season. Bogusevic - I'm less excited but like his defense.

Side Offer: Anyone want Laird in exchange for a 19th or 20th round pick?

Thanks Spider good to know *someone* else liked the guy a least a little bit. ;)

Not interested in Laird, but thanks.

Corky is up.

Joe just checked some sims. Don't have enough data on Almonte but Boggy was pretty impressive for price vs. RH. God help you though if HAL lets him get too many ABs against LH. You'd be better off with a pitcher batting. ;)

Hey Corky,

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, Boggy needs to roll on the pitcher's card to get hits v LHP!

Guys, let's get this finished off tomorrow! Either enter proxies or check in, it's just over two rounds. Can't be that hard right?

Someone in the East might want to think about creating a league too. It would be great to run waivers before Saturday.

Joe, one further comment on Boggy - just too cheer you up: :P

I dropped him from one of my current teams. Here's his line:

vs. L 12 0 0 0 0 0 0 4 .000 .000 .000
vs. R 142 22 4 0 1 7 9 36 .155 .214 .204
Plus one OF assist and one error.

I think I picked him in the first place after one of you guys had great success with him.

Wow, and that's a pretty decent sample size against RHs too. It doesn't correlate to the sims I got. :?:

Well, it's a dice game. While 142 AB isn't a tiny sample, it's not a large sample either. Not sure what park you're in, but he's going to be best in a park with decent LH HRs (6 bphr)

With any of these guys, you really have to look at 4-5 seasons (at least). We'll see how he does. My park will likely favor LH's (big surprise) so that will help.

Corky is up, come one guys, let's get this done! :D Zim, Semper, JMP and Smokey only have parks left to pick.

Ok, back to Corky.

AT's SPs are going to be interesting. Going to have an average salary of about 1.80. :o

A lot of pitching parks so far. Will the last four parks change that? Debated taking another park, but settled on Hotlanta.

Four parks in the last eight picks. Zim, Semper, Hawk or JMP, can you set up the league?

Skipped Smoke per his comment.

We have a problem however. Both Semper and JMP need to take parks so I cleared their draft picks. (Edit, JMP told me to take Toronto for him)

If you two can let me know which park you want, I will make the change. Or go ahead and make a pick, I *believe* you can pick now.

We need someone to set up the league, perferably someone in the East, but it doesn't have to be. I have meetings for the rest of the day so...

Home park was Dodger with 13 l BPHRs. Boggy had 5 BPHR chances, but only connected on 1. This was just an example of how we can get extremes on the dice. He had an almost even split (82-85) on "rolls."

I almost never make in-season changes. This move has been lucky so far - going from 45-55 to a current 63-66.
