Still need to carry this a bit further. Just using Garciaparra as an example, if he shows up on the Cubs or Dodgers after the auto draft, I can ask for him back? If this happens no one would know if he had been on my card or not. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

A better example, if Kell ends up on the White Sox, I can ask for him to be released to me? How do you know he was on my original draft card = or does it matter?

Thaibill- it's an awful jigsaw puzzle, but that's what makes it challenging/fun/exasperating .

Referring tro your Garciapara example- Yep; you should ask for him back and let me know; or let me know and I'll ask for him back for ya.

Same with Kell

Of course it matters,it's competition, everything matters- put him on your draft card. :)

One more question. If a player is carded to, say, the Yankees or Cards, but once played a season for the Braves (with no card), does that make him eligible for my team?

yes

For example; Paul Molitor would be eligible for the Senators/Twins

Need clarification before I enter a team

Can I draft players who played for the Cubs (my team) but also played for the Yanks, A's, Cardinals or Giants since Fluffy has used the term "whole set" in the context of highest card...

Also is this only no pure relievers over 4M?

Also why are we using a randomizer given that the league has been set up for random assignment of teams to divisions?

Sorry for the confusion. Hopefully this will help.

No Starting pitchers or Hitters over 6m. (period)

No relievers over 4m.

Good?

BTW. It's good to have you on board.

This league is going to be amazing. Braves, Browns, White Sox, Senators, Phillies. I'm amazed the Reds took their division last season.

I'm just so happy to think that these beat down franchises might actually have a chance of making the playoffs.
Removing the Yanks, A's, Giants and Cards removes 101 historic pennants, as well as removing, what I consider, 4 of the strongest franchises.

I'm half tempted to removing two more franchise next season to see if the Astros, Mets, Angels or Rangers can play ball under these restrictions.
