Well there is a "C" in "CF" which is the best demonstration of HAL's logic in years. It would be a bigger issue if he used that knuckle baller mitt.

Joe

How would that role switch screw up Corky's ratings?

Winning some close games against Big A and AT for 5 out of 6 will do that for you! Those were our first two series wins. At least we're competitive again. We'll see if we can win on the road.

my backup catcher won't be playing CF anymore

Well, I had my DH playing SS if it makes you feel any better. ;) Yeah it stinks when injuries do that to you.

Meanwhile, BREAK UP the MOOSEHEADS 16-2???? :o :o :o Are you kidding me? Normally we'd be talking about the Wasps, but GB is crushing it.

I'm working with Bill Belichick on keeping the team focused on what happens between the foul and base path lines. We're happy to be lagging behind the Mooseheads

It's amazing how the Mooseheads' relief corps had more wins than the starters before last night games. I don't recall a NLD season where the relief corps did that same feat.

Can we add Ian Kinsler to the HoF candidate list? At this pace, he's likely a 1st round pick for NLD 38.

Anyone have the 411 on Andrew McCutchen's bat?

LOL! I like that - hanging the Mooseheads above some fireplaces. 8-) [I lived in Halifax for a couple of years - they brew a beer called "Moosehead", and the junior hockey team is called the Mooseheads. "My" Winnipeg Jets hockey team has a draft pick (a Danish player) playing junior hockey for the Mooseheads, Nikolaj Ehlers. He's scoring goals in bunches at the moment.]

The dice just keep on rolling for me. I had Porcello on a quick hook, and he pitches a complete game shutout! I realized belatedly that Halifax got abbreviated to "Hal" on the stats leaderboard. I thought that might be cheating - by cozying up to "Hal" - so I changed it to "HFX". Still seems to be working for me, though. ;)

Thankfully McCutchen found his bat vs Stoneys team (10 for 15)and all is well with the world again. Was getting nervous with the team only putting up 2.5 runs a game  Very hard to stay competitive with that kind of offensive shortcomings. Of course I dont expect to put up a lot of runs with this offense but need to avg about 4.3 a game to have any kind of chance in this league
