I wanted Ruth.In the last season I had a team philosophy.I wanted to stop the running game .I drafted OF's who could throw,had a catcher with an arm ,Kelly, and my starters ,most importantly , could hold runners very well.
I stopped the running game and was in the hunt till those last twenty games or so . My boys allowed 125 stolen bases ,the other five teams averaged 372 stolen bases allowed.
This year I need a philosophy. I was gonna forego a philosophy and take Ruth ,am shocked he is not available.
