Does he get a regular or an unleashed card? What will the value be? Any thoughts...

I would give a 60/40 chance, considering his 89 ABs and his power (all 5 hrs and a .618 SLG pct.) being heavily weighted towards right-handers, of his being assigned Unleashed. As to his price, considering his athleticism and arm in Rf, I would not be surprised to see his card priced at between 5-7 million.

I tend to agree, as a real prospect and popular player he's more than just a 'fluke' and therefore more likely to get a card.

In my opinion he has no chance to have a regular card. Unleashed all the way.

According to the range ratings preview he's in the additional carded players set not the regular set or the computer only. My guess is he's unleashed, but I don't know if the additional players are included in the online game or not.

It should be interesting to see where Soler is assigned; no matter where, it will probably irk someone. Here are my predictions for regular cards just making the cut, unleashed cards, and fringe/possible unleashed cards. Stars indicate the cards should be quite awesome. I don't have the range ratings, but that could eliminate some of these position players:

Regular Set

Brett Anderson, SP, COL
Micheal McKenry, C, COL*
Mike Fiers, SP, MIL
Kyle Hendricks, SP, CHC
Micheal Pineda, SP, NYY***
Jesse Hahn, SP, SD/OAK
James Paxton, SP, SEA

Unleashed Set:

Pedro Baez, RP, LAD
Dylan Axelrod, SP, CIN
Rafael Ynoa, SS, COL
Ben Paulsen, 1b, COL*
Taijuan Walker, SP, SEA
Blake Treinen, SP/RP, WAS

Fringe/Possible Unleashed:

Derek Holland, SP, TEX
Aaron Sanchez, RP, TOR*
Chad Jenkins, RP, TOR
Christian Colon, SS/2b, KC

I hope you're right about Aaron Sanchez. I would love to see that card; it's going to be a beast.

I'm only wrong if Strat is wrong the info is right from their site. It doesn't mean he won't be unleashed or even excluded here in the online game. The online masters are completely arbitrary in who they exclude, include or name unleashed, which is why I'm constantly advocating to just put em all in, but you and I have beaten that horse to death. I'm just giving where the card will be in the card and dice or CD rom version of the game.

That info was from the actual site? So, my predictions were pretty accurate. I'm not going to touch that argument again either. However, at least the keeper league people will have access to all the players with the unleashed set, and those preferring the regular set more regular will have that. In these festive times, we can definitely celebrate that truce.
