Sorry Guys, just busy with Christmas and other activities.

Had to make a move tonight. Cuddyer was going to be out for another 14 games and we can't afford any more poor play. Hopefully Myers will help us v LHP and stay off the DL.

Cuddyer was always a gamble, he was my best offensive player, but the injuries just added up. Guess I'm glad, if he was going to get hurt, he got hurt before the deadline. The *normal* expectation would be 21 games, but he was going to miss 30 (with more possible) just can't live w/o him for so long. On top of that we also have Rajai out for 10 (8 more) so the combo v LHP was brutal.

Such is SOM, never know how the injuries are going to treat you.

I'm only working on Tuesday this week so I hope to get the stats done soon.

Ok, here goes

Code: Select all
Team...   O...   P...   F..   P+F.   Ovrl   Div
BigAlrc   6458   4354   -101   4253   2205   W
Spider.   7114   4621   306   4927   2187   C
Corky..   7438   4790   485   5275   2163   C
nythawk   7590   4906   475   5381   2209   E
JoeTJet   7722   4899   486   5385   2338   W
zim....   7356   4756   643   5400   1956   E
Stoney.   7826   4990   526   5516   2310   W
Smokey.   7814   5067   540   5607   2206   C
JMP....   7738   5173   441   5614   2124   E
SemperG   8065   5082   573   5654   2411   E
Gbrooke   7784   5409   288   5698   2087   C
ArrylTr   8023   5721   512   6234   1789   W

Here are the averages for each division:
Code: Select all
Divi   Offn   Ptch   Fld   P+F   Overall
East   7687   4979   533   5470   2175
Cent   7537   4972   405   5377   2161
West   7507   4991   356   5347   2160

East has the best offense and worst pitching the other two divs are very similar.

Overall
Code: Select all
Team Ov   Ovrl   Rtg   Rec   Dif
SemperG   2411   1   2   -1   E
JoeTJet   2338   3   5   -2   W
Stoney.   2310   3   3   0   W
nythawk   2209   5   3   2   E
Smokey.   2206   5   5   0   C
BigAlrc   2205   5   3   2   W
Spider.   2187   6   3   3   C
Corky..   2163   6   9   -3   C
JMP....   2124   7   6   1   E
Gbrooke   2087   8   2   6   C
zim....   1956   10   8   2   E
ArrylTr   1789   12   4   8   W

GB and AT are way over performing their ratings. I assume in AT's case it's due to fewer injuries than expected. Spider and Corky may be a little off, but the difference between the best record and 7th is only seven games so.... I also haven't done the ratings for each park. There are some big differences in parks and there are some big differences in home and away records this time around. Also in GB's case he's been very good in one run games.

Offense

Code: Select all
Team Of   O   Rtg   Run   Dif
SemperG   8065   1   2   -1   E
ArrylTr   8023   1   1   0   W

Smokey.   7814   3   5   -2   C
Gbrooke   7784   4   4   0   C
JMP....   7738   4   5   -1   E
JoeTJet   7722   4   5   -1   W
nythawk   7590   6   6   0   E
Corky..   7438   7   8   -1   C

Spider.   7114   10   8   2   C
BigAlrc   6458   12   11   1   W

Offenses are all very close to correct. Stoney is a little low, but the rest are close. Again, the runs scored are very close. There are five teams between 437 and 426!

Pitch + Fielding

As expected Big A is in first, by a LOT. Corky is quite a bit worse than expected and Semper and GB are much better.

I know how you feel with the $ gambles as I called the ball early on Harper.

I'm surprised my pitching is faired so far.

We dropped two last night to the Beer guy. HAL didn't use my lineup against Harvey and made up its own. It seems he doesn't like me.

I think it's because Harvey (5L) is kind of an 'extreme' reverse RHSP.

No reverse lineup settings or avoids for Ethier. I suspect his prior series injury was for a day longer than reported. Otherwise, HAL would have inserted him into the lineup card.

According to Joe's stats, my pitching staff ranks near a Little League team filled with 11 year olds

Thanks for taking the time to post these Joe. Hitting has been a disappointment(maybe it's the park I chose). But I've dropped a ton of one run games.

Thanks for the ratings Joe. My team read them and realized how much they were under performing. I am interested in the ballpark ratings when you get a chance to do them. I don't think I've done a good job this season matching teams and ballparks.
