Relief Pitcher's C-Rating?

PostWed Dec 31, 2014 6:01 pm

First time that I will be playing Ninties League and don't know what the C-Rating is on Relief pitchers. Any one know what it is?

Thanks, Ballbuster

It can be found at the Strat-O-Matic wiki page. But basically a pitcher with a C6 can be a closer for 6 outs without getting tired. If the reliever is C2 they can get two outs in a closing situation before getting tired. I think any reliever without C status of any kind may get tired when entering a closing situation..... If someone would correct what I may have gotten wrong, thank you.

It is nice to have at least one C5 or higher and one C3 or higher but many people probably have different opinions on that. One thing for sure, you should have at least two pitchers who add up to C8 or so..... Other vets can add their thoughts maybe...

The C6 closer can get tired before he reaches 6 outs (or whatever his rating is) if he is giving up base runners.
