Yes, Niners, TN giggled at one of my posts, so I appropriately called him "Giggles" in response to a very hostile post from him. Those who want to see that post, can just go to the end of the Hot Stove thread. I was serious, though, when I said we should all start this New Years anew with no hostility and no names.

Also, "if you really believed in your system" you'd also accept the Stanton-Rendon and Heyward-Miller wagers but I do sense that half the time you're just being hostile and confrontational for it's own sake. Because that's what angry trolls who lack the courage of their convictions do: talk big on the internet, then back down from backing their statements when something real is on the line.

Your angry, confrontational response to my friendly post shows you are the angry troll. As, I said before, I suggest you relax and enjoy your holidays. You don't seem to have enjoyed them so far. I haven't backed down from any of my statements. I stand by all of them. I certainly don't have to bet on them to do so. Apparently, you do.

Also, I haven't heard "punk out" since junior high. Not accepting a bad wager is called being smart, not "punking out." If you want to hold onto your playground logic and think otherwise, knock yourself out. I'm also cancelling our other wagers. I only make friendly bets with friendly people with whom I want to engage; you're clearly not one of them.

And the only "nonsense claim" is yours. Picking Baltimore as a Wild Card team instead of Los Angeles is not picking Baltimore over them, since they are in different divisions. I'm not going to bet on teams from two different divisions based on record. Only a fool would do that. I also said I don't bet on MVP races, and I don't. Finally, you really need to read my posts better. I never said I have a system. I also said I never predicted that Heyward would suck; I correctly said Atlanta got the better deal. So, I have no reason to bet on Miller having better 2015 than Heyward.

So, we're done. Enjoy your holidays.

The only sure prediction, was somewhere around page 3 or 4, the thread would begin to turn sour.

There's a certain consistency in punking out now on all 6 wagers, I'll give you that. I've won without winning, thanks for laying bare your cowardice for all of us to see.

That being said, time will tell if you start this "New Years anew with no hostility and no names". I wish you luck in your efforts to hopefully turn around your rep around here.

Happy New Year Terry. I tried to engage Strether at the beginning of this thread on honest terms, even though I had ample evidence that that was a mistake. Oh well, shrugs, hope you're enjoying the holiday.

Your thinking my not betting with you constitutes "cowardice" means you've already lost. But I knew that many threads ago.

I sent TN a friendly post and accepted three of his wagers. He was the one who got hostile and angry about my not accepting the other three. I guess he really wanted conflict.

Still two more posts after saying you are done?
You may not have heard "punked" since junior high but have proven to be up to date on the junior high style of bickering and arguing.

I said we were done with the "predictions" issue. That didn't preclude all further replies. I certainly wasn't done with Terry. However, your coming on this thread only to erroneously carp at me is the junior high style of bickering and arguing. I know you can be more productive.

Happy New Years, BJ

It always will as long as there is someone willing to feed the trolls.
But trolls are like anything else that lives. Stop feeding them and they move on to better feeding grounds.
