Confirmed. Picks are for the upcoming drafts. Speaking of the upcoming drafts, I seem to recall this being a pre-card draft league last year. Is that the case again this year? Are we looking at starting the draft in a couple of weeks?

As to this question, I don't think we ever established it as a pre-card draft despite doing the initial one before last year's cards came out.
If you would like we can take a vote if we'd like to continue it that way. It makes no difference to me.
However, if we do choose to do it as a pre-card league we probably need to kick our off season into gear ASAP.

I'd like to hear from you guys on what everyone would like.

I kind of like the precard draft
its nice to have drafts spread out for those of us (I think all of us are) in multiple leagues

I don't mind the pre-draft, but I lost out on Bogaerts last year because he was not carded, what would happen this time around if you draft a non-carded player?

I your looking for my vote, I would vote against the pre-card draft, more because I lost out on Bogaerts who was replaced with a 41st round pick.

rules don't allow us to keep them as a un-carded player?

not for the initial draft that was last year it did not, I do not know what is in the rules either.

I checked the rules on page one of individual league thread

Annual Spring Free Agent drafts:
1) A non-serpentine free agent draft of at least 10, and up to 15 rounds, will be held each year shortly after TSN/SOM cards are released. Draft order is determined by cumulative win/loss records from the previous year. Worst to first, NFL style.

3) Stadiums are unique and belong to each owner for the duration of the league.
4) Owners can choose to change their stadium after 2 years (or 4 of our SOM leagues).
5) There will be a separate stadium draft immediately following the Spring FA draft each year.

I think it is best that we proceed as a regular post card draft league, as much as everyone wants to start drafting, including yours truly. Too many other questions arise if we move to a pre-card draft and it defeats the entire purpose of what we did in the initial draft where guys missed out on players as dave stated earlier with Bogaerts.
