Hey guys,
It's been awhile but I hope everyone had a great holiday and a nice start to the new year.
First, our Mystery League Tournament is currently filling (only one league left to go) and is ready to start on Monday. Good luck to everyone participating! Also, congrats to our top 35 of the Players Championship! They have all qualified for the semi-finals where they must make the playoffs in order to advance to the Finals League. The last spot is the only one still up for grabs right now. JR_SHARK is currently in the finals of the Event 4 league and advances if he takes the crown. Otherwise karphenry moves on. The Barnstormer's Tournament is 135 games into the semi-finals leagues. Only the winners of these 3 leagues make it to the Finals. The current leaders are:

League 2: BDWard (83-52)
League 3: cristano1 (79-56)
Ok, on to ATG 8. The next set additional players will be launching tomorrow!! As a reminder, the list of player additions is listed below.

These players will be added into the current ATG 8 set tomorrow just as they first group of additional players were. Only new teams will see them, they will not be available for leagues already in progress. For leagues that haven't filled yet, you will be able to add these players by leaving the league and then changing your draft list. I will post tomorrow when they're available, and will have a new ATG 8 player spreadsheet available with them included as well.
We did get a note from the user who nominated Willie Keeler. Although he got voted in, the 1898 year was nominated by mistake, it was supposed to have been 1897. Although there is nothing we can do about it for this player addition, the next time we add players to the set his 1897 card will be added in as a bonus, without taking a spot for any other player. Just wanted to let everyone know ahead of time that we will get the other card in soon.
