HAAAA! you said it Rick. Talk about a self aggrandizing move, had the customer base worked up into dreams of getting the game out of the 80's (net play that works, card image downloads, iOs or Mac support) and we get a logo that looks like a London Transport system logo.

Time for change alright. Listing all of my card sets and codes on ebay, anyone interested? HORRENDOUS!

are you effin kidding me??? Just looked at the email from Strat I got earlier!! Again.....are you effin kidding me!!!

Well the logo does need updating. I mean look at the old one with that 60s computer print font. But I thought "Change is coming" meant significant change and not just an updated logo. As other people have noted it would be nice to have new games, cards, platforms for the computer game etc. and of course meaningful updates to the online game. Heck the Negro League and Japanese seasons cards/computer rosters were much bigger than this.

As Herm (hotcorner4444) will recognize, at least 95 percent of the "changes" touted for any given product, particularly the print media, are purely cosmetic. If the packaging looks brand new, the product just has to be better, right? SOM simply is doing what countless thousands of businesses have been doing for years and years.

If the famous artist can get us different steal settings for second base, third base, and a steal attempt of home, he's worth it!
