Joe, haven't played much of the board game so not as familiar with the x-chart as I probably should be. Didn't realize that there was on the 1 on the catchers. Makes sense though.

Understood Stoney. It's a bit of an anomaly. In fact, the first four numbers are the same for every catcher.

1- is a W/S which means if there is a runner on it's always a WP, if not it's a single.
2-4 is a W/G which means it's if there is a runner on it's always a WP, if not it's a grounder.

Semper, sorry to hear about your ribs. Aren't you a bit old to be playing rugby???? ;)

Gotta love Hal's subs. Against the SUPER hard LHSPs that AT puts out there, Hal, in his ultimate "wisdom" choose Bogusevic to play SS Would have been better off with Wainwright than Boggy.   Pathetic. On top of THAT, Seager moves from batting 9th to clean up! Nice choice dumb sh**. Brutal.

Who knows if it made a difference. Boggy's D didn't seem to have an impact (unlike against Stoney) but his bat? Come on!

The end of this season is very frustrating.

SIX TO GO with the Central and West titles still up for grabs - and the wild card in doubt for any of the four teams in the hunt in those divisions. GBrookes will need an almost complete collapse to miss on a playoff spot. Another exciting race for this group!!

I only picked up 1 win last night, and spider swept. It is indeed a really great race to the end!

Yep good races. Got some clarity tonight.

Sorry Stoney, I tried, but lost the last game 1-0 in 13. The only game we won was a 15 inning game! I don't mind losing to Big A when it's 3-2 or in extras, but when Wainwright gets shelled by THAT lineup in THAT park. It's infuriating.     When you get four runs against him in Petco, you expect to win. I think you've clinched a spot anyway because you hold the tie break with Big A.

Been that kind of season. Really disappointed in how the LHBs performed in my park:
Kottaras hit only six HRs after hitting 5 in 1/3 the ABs in KC in real life.
Freeman hit only .266 (although 292 at home)
Kipnis was pathetic. 216/304/338 after doing 284/366/452 AND he faced way more LHP too.
Seager hit only 13 HR (only 6 at home!) after hitting 22 in SEATTLE.
Boggy hit only 7 HRs at home out of 12. The total is about right, but figured he'd hit more in Turner than in Wrigley.

Can't really complain about Almonte he's about on his regular stats and, surprisingingly, my RHBs were fine Konerko was about what could be expected, same for Segura, Jackson, and Rajai. Myers should have probably had more power than 5 HRs in 222 ABs but his Ave and OB were close.

Came down to just SUCKING on the road, my LHBs not doing well in a LH park, and the three aforementioned pitchers costing us too many games.

Oh well. The new season is almost upon us! Got my Data disk two days ago. Semper, didyou get yours yet?

Couldn't close the deal last night. After Darvish and Bumgarner both produce shutouts, Griffin throws a 3-hitter and loses on a BPHR 1 by Kinsler (off Griffin's card). BigA and GB win the tie-breakesr against the Gap, so we need to win two to be sure of a playoff spot.

Lemahieu has been a nice find (3rd on team in Runs, Doubles and leading in SBs) and better than expected fielding (errors & X-plays). My Sanchez/Smoak 1B platoon has been another bright spot. Outfield (other than Venable) has been a mess offensively, but has performed well in the field.

My SPs have been able to keep the Gap out of the bullpen, when has been a disaster, after Hochevar and Smith.

And the Mooseheads haven't closed any deals yet either. Won only 1 game last night.

Totally frustrated. After being on top in our division for most of the season, we will now most probably miss the post-season.

While I'm nearly 25 years older than the average with gear older than the next older player :D, I'm still fleet of foot at 6'2" 200 lbs. I moved from the Full-Back position to the Second Row forwards slot. It's fun as hell to strap on the cleats while trying to "roller skate among the buffalo".
