A New Mystery To Solve?

Mystery League Lovers, what would you rather see (first):

1. A Post WW2 Mystery League 1945- 1960 (Basically the 1950s)

2. A Post Millennium Mystery League 2000 -2010

Definitely number two. It would be great to see all the best cards from those years re-arranged as mystery cards. I have no interest in the 50s; even my father--who was a kid then--doesn't know those players.

Yeah, I agree. I don't know the 1950s players either, except for the big names/ usual suspects.

I would love it if they started a 50's league.
I think a dead ball league (1900's - 1910's) would be pretty cool but I doubt many would play it once the novelty wore off. But imagine having Home Run Baker hitting clean up.

I agree. #1 would be my pick. I like the fact that beyond the stars I don't know the other players well. The same was true for many of the 60s lesser knowns for me and I enjoyed that. A Strat card is a strat card no matter the name on the card.

I have little interest in the post 2000 players.

I'm with G_MONEY and LMbombers.
I learned a lot about the history of the 1960s by playing that mystery card set. I'm sure the same would be said for the 1950s.
Besides, I'm not a fan of the DH and that addition to the game DID change the stats and the way it is played.
So, bring on the '50s!

If that were true, then a league with randomly named cards, instead of cards with actual player names, would be fine for you. I, myself, would prefer a 2000's league with actual players like Rich Aurilia and Brian Giles than a random league with names like Jack Tripper and Tyrion Lannister.

Many SOM players, including myself, actually do care about the players on the cards and the leagues they played on. Many, like myself, prefer players from our own lifetime. Many others are interested in past eras and players who interest them. They don't want any leagues, such as the 1940's Japanese league, and they don't want just any names on the cards. A strat card may be a strat card no matter the name on the card. But most players want particular actual player names on those cards, not just any names.

You really are a pill, aren't you Lambert? Or whatever your name is. You just can't leave ANYTHING alone. Just because someone doesn't agree with you does not mean they are wrong or want random cards or whatever absurd correlation you want to make.
