The only pill is you, G-Money, whatever your name is...you vile, angry man. I am allowed to disagree with another poster's post, particularly when it relates to my previous post. Disagreeing with someone is not saying they are wrong. My correlation was absolutely correct. Your terrible misreading of it was the only thing absurd. If someone says the name on the card doesn't matter, then they would be ok with random name on the cards. You're just not bright enough to see it.

If you want to actually critique my post like a grown-up and try to show it's wrong, please do so. You certainly haven't done so yet.

Blah Blah Blah Lambert. You are a full of crap neurotic little man who has to immediately resort to name calling EVERY TIME. I am not angry, just annoyed by you, you are like a piece of gum on the bottom of my shoe, I only need to scrape you off.

That's hilarious. The only full of crap neurotic little man who had to resort to name-calling was you when you called me a "pill."

So, you not only can't refute my arguments, you're a lame hypocrite as well. Thank you for your terribly childish "gum" analogy. It proved everything I previously said about you, including your anger... ;)

Stop it Lambert, or I will make fun of your transactions. Or your blog. Which would be too easy. :D

Go ahead...G. Considering your sad inability to refute my post to Bombers, anything you write would be good for a laugh... ;)

I don't have a blog by the way So, you're sadly deluded as well.

#1 for me, for the same reason as BrotherA, it's fun to learn about players from before my time. We've been having a blast in an outside keeper league starting in 1950, my MLB knowledge from that era is a lot deeper now. I would play either though.

Great question Radagast, a similar good discussion on the boards was had before the 60's mystery card set launched, unfortunately this thread is about to get l.locked .

I agree that the names on the cards DO matter, even though I can understand LM's point. I am not interested in playing any sets of players that were from the "Whites Only" era. Give me anything that is post war (with real competition) and I will be happy!... Love those Mystery Leagues! :D

The 50's card set would rule, even though there were only 16 teams. It would be the game in it's "purest" form: post-integration and pre-expansion. Many of the guys would be the same as what we have in the 60's set. I was drawn to the 60's because of my love for the 1969 game that has sadly disappeared.
I still have a faux nostalgic feeling for the early days of baseball, post 1901 and pre-Babe Ruth. Some of those guys are available in the ATG set but that set is so big it's watered down.
