L.E.G. Keeper League Chat Thread

The first game I ever went to was Yankees vs. Baltimore at Yankee Stadium in 1961. I was 10. We had a black and white TV set, and there was no way to prepare me for walking up the ramp to the grandstand and -- for the first time -- seeing a real baseball stadium. The sunlit green of the grass and the red of the sandy infield, and the white of the uniforms, and the pale green facade sporting those incredible championship banners ... I'll never forget it.

BUT, I didn't become a Yankee fan. The next year, I was at the FIRST NY Met home win ever (and their second win ever) at the Polo Grounds. . . Nothing like those memories. Met fan forever.

it was magically I was so happy for my Dad who had waited even longer than me. My 1st game was a family night game (anybody remember those?) 1967 vs Cleveland what do I remember I loved the Hot Dogs lol. I enjoy reading about everybody's 1st game. How about the rest of you guys?

My first game was at Riverfront Stadium in 1972. I recall thinking how beautiful the astroturf looked. The combined smell of hotdogs, cotton candy, and the guy's pipe sitting in front of us was awesome. The Reds lost but I did get to see Johnny Bench hit a HR.

I can't count how many '75 World Series replays I did.

If any of you guys can confirm for me whether RP Troy Patton will have a 2014 card in our upcoming season, I'd appreciate it.

The Strat Ratings download gives him multiple cards, but has an "X" next to the combined card. This SHOULD mean that he will only be in the computer game, and not the online game.

I'm compiling my drop list and just want to make sure. If anyone can interpret that for me, thanks in advance.

According to the 2014 SOM Baseball Ratings Book, he will be NL Only Computer Game. He pitched 7 innings for Baltimore then 7 Innings for San Diego. He is not listed on either roster in the book, but on the NL Only Computer Page. He make the Unleashed Set, depending on the innings cut off. Sorry Artie.
