Thanks for the feedback. I will remove the pitchers from the DH drop-down asap.

I will assess a pitcher, hitter, team sub-total and implement if it can be done relatively easily.

Adrian, thanks so much for setting this up.

But could I ask I question? I'm not quite sure what the function of the pitcher is. Are we looking at how an opposing pitcher would affect the rival team's offensive lineup? Or is the idea to assess the overall strength of one's pitching staff by putting all the pitchers on a team in a pitching lineup (Sp1 thru Sp4 say) and seeing how the team's pitching rates overall?

The lineup evaluator will show you the total hit and walk chances for the player cards selected. Ideally, for the money, you want the pitching staff that gives up the fewest walks + hits and the hitters that produce the most. There are other data points that make these evaluations less than ideal for pitchers--e.g. strikeouts and gbAs. But it's something.

Incidentally, there's nothing stopping anyone from having two evaluation tabs open--one for hitters and one for pitchers. Just a thought.

It would be interesting to ADD pitcher's hitting cards to the DH slot
1-8 L,R,S

Thanks, Adrian. I get it now. ;)

I think two tabs, one for hitting and one for pitching, are the way to go.

Also, I really like hackra's suggestion, if that's not too hard.

I vaguely, and I mean vaguely, remember some discussion as to whether a "generic" pitcher's hitting card was used for ALL pitchers. Is this correct? Was it this way in a former iteration of Strat Online? Or is my memory that bad?

I suppose adding the generic pitcher hitting cards would not be out of the question if somebody wanted to do the data entry.

Several thumbs up, Adrian. Called in my granddaughters to provide the extra thumbs.
