'02 was an offense year. However, for me it will always be the year of super relievers and excellent sub-2mil starters. I still can't believe how many of my starting rotations had Villone, Tejera, and/or Simontacchi; and how many of my bullpens were anchored by Grant Roberts and Joe Borowski.

These days, the best we get is Tyler Chatwood and Tanner Scheppers.

Yeah, I ended up browsing through all kinds of old teams, some crazy bargain plays on pitchers and hitters alike.

I remember having some pretty good performances - before bullpen 2.0 came out. :)

Bullpen 2.0 kept you from having pretty good performances? That's both surprising and sad. It didn't change the way I manage my teams or my (or most managers') teams' successes at all.

Great team. My question is how you ended up with only 12 hitters (total 22 players). Is this a SOM online error or have you found the secret to play under the player minimum requirement? I would love to know how to do that! :D

Thanks. You know, I just looked at that, and I have no clue. I'm sure it helped having versatile guys like Escalona and Sadler on the bench, but how I ended up with 12 without cutting any position players is beyond me.

It's probably when strat online first started out and the roster minimum for batters back then may have been 12.
