There is another issue with several cards however which someone pointed out to me. There are several players who played for the Washington Senators; Frank Howard, Daryl Knowles and Dick Bosman but their cards are listed on the Texas Rangers roster. So that there is no confusion, I think they should stay the property of Texas. If they are not used however, then the Minnesota/Washington franchise are eligible to use them. ( this all a result of some confusing franchise mergers back in the 60s.
From what I can tell, these players here belong to Minnesota, and anyone else listed with Washington belongs to Texas. (The old Washington Senators moved to Minnesota at the start of the 1961 season and the new Senators were born. They then transferred to Texas in 1972.)
I think the list is accurate, but please challenge it if you think I missed someone.
