DUAL FRANCHISE SEASON 3

Hypothetical question: Rickey Henderson’s highest priced season is with Oakland at $8.75M. He has a Yankees card worth $7.80M, and then two other A’s cards at $6.96M and $5.37M. I assume he belongs to Oakland because that’s where his highest priced card is, but can his $6.96M or $5.37M cards be used?

Also, although none of these guys is particularly great, the following players have 2 cards at the same value for different teams. Who gets them?

Randy Lerch, MIL 1982 (P) $0.50M
Nippy Jones, STL 1948 (1B) $0.64M
Nippy Jones, MIL 1957 (1B) $0.64M

Rob Picciolo, MIL 1982 (SS) $0.50M

Any A's card can be used for A's...those players listed ...1st come 1st serve would be my guess...commish can confirm

In regards to Falcons question I agree with good Doctor it would be first come first serve on players such as Randy Lerch .


There is another issue with several cards however which someone pointed out to me. There are several players who played for the Washington Senators; Frank Howard, Daryl Knowles and Dick Bosman but their cards are listed on the Texas Rangers roster. So that there is no confusion, I think they should stay the property of Texas. If they are not used however, then the Minnesota/Washington franchise are eligible to use them. ( this all a result of some confusing franchise mergers back in the 60s.

From what I can tell, these players here belong to Minnesota, and anyone else listed with Washington belongs to Texas. (The old Washington Senators moved to Minnesota at the start of the 1961 season and the new Senators were born. They then transferred to Texas in 1972.)
