I remenber once

PostWed Feb 11, 2015 4:08 am

when this thread wasn't a pissing contest.

Water seeks its own level and this thread is becoming a desert.

Can we please rise above sea level and bring it back to fun banter.

PLEASE I BEG OF YOU FOR THIS! I really don't want to leave this game but I really am growing tired of all the urine in the wind. Its not just 1 its many.

I am sad. I am sad for this game am I am sad that I will no longer be playing this game as it is becoming sad also.

I still enjoy the online game and look forward to new years and the online return of the 1969 season (?), but I agree on your point related to these boards. Still some gems out here from guys like visich, Valen, and teamnasty, and others.

But for the most part - these boards have become a desert. Sad to see.

I agree... it's why I have been 100% absent until this week (checking in to see when the new cards come out) and will continue to be absent from the boards mostly.

I have figured out how to completely erase a certain someone's post (thank you greasemonkey!) so I don't see them, but it isn't worth it anymore.

of course now we wait for the report showing all 3 of us at fault from a post 2 years ago

I haven't noticed much of anything lately, but then again, none of the thread titles get me to click on them, so if something has gone off the tracks in a current thread, I have missed it.

Geekor or Greasemonkey, can you PM me and instruct me how to make that happen. The FOE functionality doesn't work for me.

I don't know about that greasemonkey guy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greasemonkey

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-Us/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/

A few years back there was one of the board members here who loved writing greasemonkey scripts. He posted scripts for all kinds of customizations. I don't remember who it was though and doubt he is still around.

Key thing I think if you do not want to learn to write your own is make sure you trust the person you are getting the script from. Don't know if it is possible to slip sneaky code in to a greasemonkey script or not.

Might be referring to me cause I don't know who else have done these for SOM.

I also wrote a script for the foes list!

Thanks Wavy, my problem is that I can't get the "foes" function to work to add the username. Will try customer support again.

Geekor, you actually found a way to squelch him! Not a single 10,000 word rant in response!

You did the ones that added up the percentage chances of outcomes on a card? If so, I found those to be time-savers indeed.
