Does the online game always launch on Thursday?

Seems to I called Feb. 26 a few weeks back and Garcia's latest blog post pegs that as the likely earliest release date. Guess we'll see in 9 days.

I'm not trying to dash hopes intentionally, but he's already on record as stating that the 26th is the absolute earliest the new cards will launch, which is a week from thursday.

Don't get me wrong I'd be thrilled if it did launch Thursday, but I doubt it very highly unless Garcia was willfully spreading disinformation. If he was I think my beloved Niners might have a front office position for him.

Part of the rest of his blog was stating that last year was an unusual circumstance that would not repeat this year. Again hope he and I are both wrong, but if I was betting I would 't put my money on Thursday.

Garcia's latest blog post pretty much pegs next Thursday the 26th as launch day. He also posted a few card images with salaries, which he says may or may not be final (Trout 12 mil!!!!) I suggest you check it out.
