Is it true that we can promote 1st-year carded prospects at the end of the FA draft? I think this was gone over previously but just wanted clarification.

If so, can I move Billy Hamilton back to prospect status and promote him with my 30th pick in the FA draft? Thanks.

Sorry, the answer is yes, but no on Hamilton. The problem is once you promote a prospect you can't demote them -

5) Prospects can be promoted to the major league roster at any time, provided there is roster space available. Once promoted all prospects lose their prospect status, and cannot be demoted back to prospect status.


You can promote prospects anytime as long as you have an open space on your roster, but since you promoted Hamilton over a month ago? you can't demote him.

You can make changes. If all the cuts are in early I will give at least 24 hrs notice for a final deadline (if it is earlier than the 5th). If you do make changes please write a new post with the change (just the change, not the whole list). If you just edit an old post I will probably not see it.

I know this isn't going to move the needle but Tim Hudson is very much available.
He is likely going to lose his spot in the rotation. He had a decent year last season. It wouldn't take much.

Also, if anyone needs a CF, I would move Ellsbury. Looking for a very high prospect pick or some young talent either in the form of prospects or young players.
