I needed 16 picks in order to successfully trade away my 9th/10th round picks.

No you don't CHECK YOUR EMAIL. Long story short, you only need 10 cuts to deal away your 9th and 10th round picks. Don't count the picks you acquired as you needing to make cuts for them, those are accounted for by the person who traded them to you. Thats the simple explanation.

If you want to keep both prospects you only need cut 12.

All that said you have 2 other prospects that need to be either promoted or released.

Sorry I must have done a piss poor job explaining it then. The only thing I recall was letting you know you'd lose the second 7th round pick only cutting 14( with your promotions) and you being okay with that.
