glitch?

PostSat Feb 28, 2015 1:20 am

I had scheduled McLain, Cheney, Alexander, in that order, for games 55 56 57 tonight. But HAL ran them Alexander, McLain, Cheney. Which shouldn't be possible ... Alexander had just started game 53. I made a drop today of an SP -- Wynn for Keefe. But that slot wasn't scheduled for tonight, so it shouldn't have affected anything.

My good luck, I suppose, to get an extra start for Alexander. Except for now my rotation is all out of order ... my number 4 guy will be scheduled to go consistently against the other team's number 1. So I'll need to skip a start for one of my good starters to get things back to normal.

Pretty irritating ...

I notice the games are running slow tonight. Anybody else having weird results? Anybody have this sort of thing happen before?

Most of my leagues had rotation glitches.

HAL skipped my number 4 completely, so all 3 starts for me last night were guys who shouldn't have been available until the next game. All three pitchers acted like they'd had normal rest, though - started the game at F9 and didn't tire until the usual stage of the game (if at all). Strange. Maybe HAL had a brain fart.

The same thing happened in the Barnstormers final. Next question is whether it will go back to the scheduled starters tomorrow or if the guys who pitched on short rest will be available on normal rest next time.

Strat should replay the games. People got screwed in the last series of the season.

This glitch appears to have been pervasive, right across every card set and league. The only teams that appear not to have been affected in some cases are teams with 4 SP*'s, where they just let strat run the starters in descending order on the team roster sheet, from game 1 of the season. Any change in per-game starter order, or teams with a non * SP rotation, appear to have been affected by this glitch.

In other words, many, many series are affected on Friday night!

Glitch expands into autodrafts. Got this message from a 90s league that supposedly drafted, but with some problems:

Thanks for your patience...

Our system has detected an issue with this league that has prevented the Auto-Draft from running. While rare, there are a number of possible issues that could exist, including a team having an improper player on its draft list, or having too much salary. We'll be investigating the cause of this delay, and should have a resolution probably with the next 24 hours. Thanks for your patience.

Based on my quick glance through the Friday games, the following teams/games are affected (including their opponent, indirectly):

League 1 -

waynick
bbasebrawl
Jeepdriver
unclerowser
ScumbyJr
durantjerry

League 2 -

GoDucks (ugh, Mike, and you're running the Mystery tourney, agghh!)
mesquiton
hendrix08
AZHawg

League 3-

narkyura
pushpin76
Gibl
JR_Shark
dalelawrence
jmoore1966
bob711

Thanks to Scumby for pointing this out.

Please email strat about the issue, using the "contact us" drop down on the help bar, if you've been affected, directly or indirectly.

If nothing else, if they haven't noticed the glitch yet, the volume of emails should get their attention quickly (I hope).

Honestly, it looks like it goes across all card sets, including ATG. It looks to me like Friday's games might have to be re-run - just my thinking only.
