2015 Franchise League - Play your favorite team

i have one more option to try and get this moving.

How about me do the free agent draft in reverse-order of the teams' selected Win-Loss record in 2014, instead of last person to sign up to first person.

the way we have it now actually encourages you to wait to sign up and try to get a last spot.

Good idea. We do need a tiebreaker though, Tiger & Cards both won 90, and I'm sure there is the potential for others. I think something based on team salary would be best, not sure the exact number of player to consider. I'll let those not involved in the tie decide.

the rules that are being discussed are really quite insignificant, people are just throwing in their suggestions about who should get first choice of the 3 FA players available to your team who are not carded to your team. And if you are here for the right reasons, that is managing one of your favorite teams with their players than how we do that doesn't really matter, I would be fine just having it be part of the auto draft for that matter which might be easier and get this thing going faster once we get filled. I think that would work because the individual free agents you will be able to afford will depend on what's left against your cap after you've filled your roster with your franchise players. Some teams simply won't be able to afford the top free agents, and that's kind of the whole point. If you want to play the Astros but you can't put a team together that would have any chance at all, then you get to add 3 superstars to your team through free agency and pretend like your real team's GM had made better decisions. So for the sake of all who may be thinking about this league filling and worried about the wishy washy possilbilities of the free agents. let's go with just leaving it up to open competition in the auto draft okay? That way there will be no delays once we fill to get going and I seriously doubt there will be many instances where you couldn't have the exact 3 free agents of your choice, or at least very similar as each owner's salary cap situation is going to be different.

In addition to helping lesser teams with earlier free agent picks, I would suggest that the teams are put into divisions by salary to keep the stronger teams playing against each other - just an idea. Here are the salaries by team for these 12 teams, if that helps:
