I am loving the set so far. lots of strategies to play based on cards, pricing and stadiums. some odd pricing though..Cano is singles hitter (and a few doubles) and a 2 defender with not a great e rating...way overpriced. not a great hitter and not a great fielder, not a great runner, no power......reputation and history???

9 doubles chances on each side, yeah, but a .314/.382/.454 split...I think there's better value to be found though, so I agree...seems a little overpriced.

This is one of the reasons I enjoy 24-team leagues--the "little overpriced" guys generally find a team in the bigger leagues; in the 12 team leagues there is often enough value players found that leave a $8M "little overpriced" guy on the waiver wire all season.

My impression is about the same as others offered in the thread, based on a 12 team $80M draft league: good amount of value in SP, and the hitters that make me happy as a manager at the price offered are seemingly scare.

I love the 24 teamers too, but only at $60. at $80 at least 2-3 teams always get screwed

Agreed. $80M is too much. $60-65M seems to keep a better balance.

If you want to see ALL of the cards used, then you should join us in the annual Let's Draft 'Em All tournament that runs at the end of each card set year. We are currently finishing our second run.

This is setup with 12 managers running 3 teams each, in the Majors, Minors, and Instructional leagues. Every player gets drafted for one of the 36 teams and, like Little Leagues everywhere, each player must appear in at least one game.

Now THAT's seeing all the cards used!
