is it just me or does this new season have way more one run games. another observation is my moderate 5mil to 2 mil sps seem to be outperforming rps?

I haven't started playing the new set yet but more one run games would seem to be a logical consequence of the overall reduced amount of offense throughout baseball.

I only notice the one-run games I lose.

I don't know where to find league-wide real stats for one run games, but I did a small sample of real-life 2014 teams and the percentage is about 22-27%. After 21 games, my one team has had 28.6% one run games. Probably not a meaningful difference in general, and I will speculate the percentage is higher in Strat because the game operates in a different universe that would lead to more 1-run games than the real MLB teams will experience.

I had forgotten about this but Expanded Standings keeps track of the 1-run games.

Through 21 games I've been in nine of them. All my losses have been 1-run games.

I think scoring is down, which leads to more 1 run games.

As for SPs vs RPs, I think that the ratios look similar to prior years, in terms of run production on SPs and RPs cards, and relative salaries.
